Impact: 1,984 Children from 17 Schools have better learning environment

Public Health

Taking the life-course approach (biological, social, environmental and behavioural considerations for the entire lifespan of an individual)

Action: Village-level Health Camps for health checkups, treatment, and referrals; Safe and effective maternity-care facilities; treatment of heart-ailments of infants/children

Impact:

  • 2580 Persons, including 600 school children taking health benefits
  • 1,440+ women having safe-delivery and maternity care
  • 27 children with various heart-ailments from poor families living a healthy life

Sustainable Livelihoods

Sustainable Livelihoods

Green entrepreneurship promoting women and youth leadership

Action: Improved farming practices; animal health-camps; support to women SHG members for initiating micro-enterprises and livelihood activities.

Impact:

  • 28,540 Persons from 5,430 households benefiting
  • 2,344 Livestock from 93 families have better health and higher yield
  • 11 Women are running their micro-enterprises successfully

Water Stewardship

A holistic and collaborative perspective to water conservation and quality

Action: Rejuvenation of waterbodies

Impact:

  • 390,000 Cubic-feet of additional water potential created (2 waterbodies, 70 families directly benefiting)
  • 1,200 Persons, including 350 Children having safe drinking water using RO Water Plant in a school and a village
  • 6,000+ Persons from 3 villages having safe and assured drinking water from the overhead water-tank

Conservation Ecology & Environment

Protecting and sustainably managing biodiversity and natural resources

Action: integrated watershed development; promotion of organic/bio-input based farming; solar streetlights.

Impact:

  • 10,415 Acres (4215 ha) of land area treated
  • 571 Families practicing bio-input based farming
  • 29,770 Persons from 17 villages benefiting economically
  • 11,380 Women and children have safer movement at night, using 130 solar streetlights at strategic locations in 13 villages
