Neuland is named after Reverend Julius Aloysius (Athur) Nieuwland (1878-1936) an inspirational scientist at the University of Notre Dame, USA. He is known for his contributions to research into acetylene and its use as the basis for a type of synthetic rubber, which led to the invention of neoprene by DuPont.

His work inspired our chairman Dr Davuluri Rama Mohan Rao, who studied organic chemistry at the University of Notre Dame, to start his own business and name it after the Reverend Nieuwland.

With Neuland, you always know that you will get quality products, delivered on time and on budget - that’s why they’ve been a trusted partner of ours for the past seven years.
